The Biorex Diagnostics Phosphorus (Inorganic) assay is used for quantitative determination of Inorganic Phosphorus in Serum.
Phosphate levels in serum can be subjected to a rapid change in response to environmental changes such as diet, fluctuation in growth hormone levels, insulin levels and kidney function. Low levels are prevalent in primary hyperparathyroidism.
